BILLINGS - A woman stabbed her ex-boyfriend early Sunday morning when he broke into her house, according to the Billings Police Department.
With police enroute, Gered Achuleta, 19, broke through the front door of the residence and knocked the woman, 30, to the ground in front of her four children and grandmother.
The woman, armed with a knife, stabbed Archuleta in the shoulder and back before he fled to a nearby house where homeowners called police after seeing the suspect bleeding from his wounds.
Archuleta was apprehended and taken to the Billings Clinic by AMR where he received medical treatment.
Police said he was then taken to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility where he remains in custody on one count of felony aggravated burglary and one count of misdemeanor partner or family member assault.
