Billings casino robbed at gunpoint

BILLINGS - Billings police have arrested two men suspected of robbing a casino.

The robbery happened at about 11:48 p.m. Monday when a male suspect entered Dotty's Casino at 4010 Montana Sapphire Dr. with a handgun and demanded money.

The robber left with an undisclosed amount and got into a vehicle occupied by a second suspect parked outside the casino.

Video surveillance was obtained and distributed to officers. The vehicle used in the robbery was found about an hour later at the Gold Dust Casino and two suspects were arrested.

Antonio F. Gutierrez, 35, and Christopher A. Esrey, 30, both of Billings, are being held at the Yellowstone County jail on suspicion of robbery.

According to state prison records, Esrey has prior felony convictions for burglary and drug possession.
