GREAT FALLS- A motorcycle crash southeast of Great Falls has claimed the life of a man.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Highway 227 between Centerville and Stockett.
Troopers said a man on a motorcycle was southbound when he lost control on a left hand curve.
The motorcycle rolled across the center lane and into the west side ditch.
According to the highway patrol, the man was thrown from the motorcycle and hit a directional curve sign.
The man died at the scene.
There is no word yet on whether speed, alcohol, or helmet use were factors in the crash.
The man's name has not yet been released.
